Palmer's Accounting & Tax Service
3005-A Canoe Creek Road
Saint Cloud FL 34772
Hi, I'm Pat Palmer. Since 1990 I have handled the bookkeeping, accounting and payroll for sub-contractors, cleaning services, residential and commercial rental property owners, non-profits, churches, online retailers, a mortgage broker, graphic designers, hair salons, a small manufacturer, auto repair shops, landscapers and other small businesses. I have also prepared tax returns for individuals, S corporations, LLC’s, partnerships, estates, trusts, CRUTs, and non-profits (990).
I have a non-traditional education combined with some really great experience that has served me well. Fresh from high school I went to work for a national steel company. I worked with that company for seven years and in that time was promoted ten times and transferred twice to different states. I started out in Orlando, Florida, as a mail room/billing clerk, then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I traveled the Eastern United States training sales people on the company’s computer system (in the mid-to-late 70’s!). Then I was transferred to St. Louis, Missouri, to be Office Manager for the same steel company. I learned much in my time with that company. I also learned of my natural gifts for leadership and teaching and my abilities with computers and administration.
Following that I went to work for some of the large hotels in the Disney area, a CPA firm in Kissimmee, Florida, and a mobile home dealer. It was after working for the mobile home dealer that I decided I needed to work from home so that I could be a full-time mom and still earn a living at the administration and accounting that I love. I have been fortunate enough to be able to do just that since 1990.
As an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, I am required to stay current with the ever changing tax laws by completing a set number of continuing education hours each year.
If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to answer any questions and fill in any blanks for you. Just give me a call or shoot me an email.
